2020 was a challenging year for everyone. There wasn't an individual or business that went untouched as a result of Coronavirus.
However, as with everything in life, when you are presented with challenges, you are also presented with opportunities.
I have worked for 19 years in various management positions, culminating in the leadership of multiple sites, multi million pound revenue generating empires with hundreds of employees. I was paid well, had a company car and other benefits, yet during a global pandemic and all the uncertainty that goes with it, I decided to trade that security to start my own venture! Why?
Because I am passionate about people. The biggest achievements in my career are not about financials, they're about the people I've led, coached and mentored. Whether the outcome is their own personal career gain or the improvement of their individual business, my pride is taken from making a positive difference and I want to do that in partnership with local businesses.
For small to medium sized businesses founded by skilled entrepreneurs, the skillset is generally focused on product conception and development. Understandably, that can then leave some skill gaps in the business relating to people management or operational knowledge and this can cause frustrations when you just want to push on. This is where Bach Management can help you.
It can be intimidating not knowing where to turn for advice, especially when you're not sitting on endless resources like large scale businesses. With my wide ranging experience, I can guide you.
Whether it is offering guidance or answering simple "one off" questions, I'm here to support you keep your business compliant and pushing forward.
In many independent businesses that have organic management teams, there may be skill gaps which could be filled with the experience of someone from a large international business. Bach is here to mentor.
But why Bach Management?
As a proud Welshman, I wanted a name that resonates with me, but also has meaning to what I'm doing. Bach (pronounced "Baa" with a soft "ch" as in "loch") is a Welsh term. My late father was affectionally nicknamed by his friends "Ken Bach" or "little Ken".
Bach is also the Welsh word for "small" and I'm here to help small businesses. So "Bach" ticked all the boxes. Now it's time to let Bach Management help you.
